About the Event
Recent data shows that 1 in 5 adolescents experience significant anxiety or depression, and youth suicide rates have risen dramatically—up more than 60% since 2007—making suicide now one of the leading causes of death among teens. This comprehensive weekend program is thoughtfully structured to address the critical need for mental health support and suicide prevention.Through engaging presentations, community dialogue, and the provision of practical resources, this initiative aims to cultivate a culture of understanding, compassion, and proactive support.


About the Presenter
Mark Tamaleaa is a dedicated professional with over 25 years of experience in education,
pastoral ministry, and administration within the Seventh-day Adventist
Church. Mark is an internationally recognized speaker and passionate advocate who brings a wealth of experience and a profound commitment to empowering individuals and communities with the knowledge and resources needed to foster holistic well-being and offer enduring hope.
