Our price is $165 per person and this covers all activities, meals, and cabin lodging. (CYB motel lodging is additional)
When should I arrive to camp and where do I go upon arrival?
Young Adults should arrive anytime after 2pm on Tuesday July 14th. Upon arrival to the camp please make your way down the hill and to our main building which is the cafeteria building. This is the main building on your left when you come down the hill. Once in the cafeteria, you will be able to check-in and receive your housing assignment for the week.
Will meal be served on days of arrival and departure?
On Tuesday, July 14th, a light supper will be served. On Sunday, July 19th, Breakfast will be served.
What are the lodging accomodations like?
Men will stay in the guy's village cabins. Ladies will sleep in the girl's village cabins. These are our standard accomodations. Married couples have the option of booking a CYB motel room for an additional fee. (see registration for pricing)
How do I sign up for activities?
Every morning during breakfast time, young adults will have the opportunity to sign up for any of the offered daily activities. Typically there are four activity periods per day except on those days where we have special activities.
Do I have to participate in every activity I sign up for?
Young Adult camp is what you want it to be. You can choose to fill your days with activities or you can choose to take it easy and do two or three activities and rest during the other periods. YA camp is a very laid back week meant for you to go at the pace you want. Our goal is for you to have a good time!
Is there any financial assistance if I can't afford to attend YA camp?
If you really want to come to YA camp, we would like to help make that happen. You can always start by fundraising anyway you can. You can always talk to your local church to see if they would be willing to help sponsor you to attend. You can always ask family to help pay for you to come to camp as a christmas present or maybe a birthday present. If none of these are solutions, contact Pr. Craig, our camp director and he will try to help if he can.
When is checkout time on Sunday, July 19th?
Checkout time is by 11:00am
Can I get a discount if I come for only part of the week?
Contact Pr. Craig about a possible weekend discount. Email him at dcraig@arklac.org
Am I allowed to bring kids?
Unfortunately No. We do offer an alternative, which is family camp. Family camp takes place a week prior to young adult camp and is offered to anyone who would like to come to camp as a family!
